The essence of CCHL’s philosophies lies in its holistic approach. Challenges around weight and body image are usually very complicated, and require attention to all the contributing factors in order to achieve lasting change. We highly recommend that everyone who partakes of CCHL services undergoes a comprehensive evaluation that begins with our physician.
For some, however, there may be reasons to seek consultation with our dietitian, fitness personnel, therapist, or chef directly—without seeing the physician first. If only ONE of our services is needed, this may be the right path for you.
Situations in which you may want to see our Registered Dietitian directly:
- You are referred for nutritional support for a medical or metabolic condition, unrelated to weight or body image;
- You want to ensure that you are feeding yourself healthfully throughout your pregnancy.
Situations in which you may want to see our Food Consultant/Chef:
- You need help with setting up and organizing your kitchen or pantry;
- You need menu or recipe ideas.
- You would like assistance in efficient grocery shoping;
- You desire guidance with restaurant menu selection;
- You need help with the logistics of feeding a family;
- You would like cooking lessons.

As our professionals get to know you, they may advise you that you would benefit from a more comprehensive approach. In that case, a recommendation may be made to schedule an appointment with another professional within our group.
